Due to even more projected growth for 2023, Freedom Internet is seeking an experienced BDM to join our team, focused on products and services for clients within the hotel, property development, high rise multi dwelling sector.

The role is based from our HQ on the Gold Coast, working within a strong company with a good structure, strong reputation and good depth of service delivery.

Ideally the role would suit an experienced salesperson / BDM that has previous experience directly in the telecommunications strata, hotel, IT or similar industries.

Who we’re looking for:

As a Business Development Manager, you will help grow Freedom Internet’s portfolio of building partners. Our ideal candidate is a people person that enjoys being in the field and will be responsible for building relationships and increasing adoption of Freedom Internet with multi-dwelling/ high rise properties (MDU’s), both residential and hotel.

You will serve as the point-of-contact for property owners and management, onboard buildings, manage rollout timelines, and represent Freedom Internet in meetings, social functions, or in the community.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining lasting relationships with building managers, body corporates & developers that will be conducive to the ongoing sale of Freedom Internet services to residents within your portfolio of properties.

Building premises and property management teams need to be our channel partners to reach residents and guests, our ultimate customers, and you’ll plays a central role in maintaining these relationships.

Reporting to the Sales & Product Manager, your role will include:

  • Represent Freedom Internet to Property and Building partners and be the single point of contact to serve the B2B relationship
  • Bridge the Sales relationship with Deployment and Marketing teams to drive excellent construction and roll out of Freedom Internet in buildings
  • Achieve and exceed KPI’s
  • Driving Property Contact engagement and investment in our roll out marketing plans in a timely manner in pre-launch, launch and growth phases
  • Provide exemplary customer service in order to build and maintain strong relationships between building managers, body corporates, developers and strata companies that will result in building acquisition
  • Act as a dedicated resource for key accounts
  • Maintain accurate service and customer activity records within our CRM and other tools
  • Build a community around Freedom Internet and your building partners
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Following inbound leads and enquiries and converting sales
  • Researching new leads, cold-calling and meeting of prospects
  • Sending quotes and information packages and writing proposals
  • Relationship management with ongoing interaction / meetings with clients to ensure a high level of service
  • Providing handover of new clients to the Account management team and supporting them with service delivery and contract renewals
  • Provide ongoing product/service training to clients and obtaining feedback for service improvement
  • Attending seminars, trade shows and events

Requirements:

  • Experience in new business development, solution selling and closing sales
  • Target driven with experience working to and reporting on KPI's
  • Strong prospecting skills to build pipeline
  • The ability to create and present proposals
  • Strong customer service skills as well as not being afraid to pick up the phone and call clients
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, use of CRM's and Microsoft products
  • Must have a current driver's licence
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and events
  • Proven ability to successfully work independently as well as collaborating across multiple functions in an organisation to accomplish team goals

Bonus points if..

  • You have experience working with multi-dwelling unit residential customers, property management or real estate industry
  • You have a demonstrated ability to navigate the ambiguity inherent in the early stage development of products and services as well as a rapidly changing digital landscape
  • You have a real passion for tech and the ISP industry
  • You are located in the Gold Coast.

Salary Expectations:

OTE $120 to $150K per annum (Salary range of $80,000 to $85,000):

+ commissions,

+ plus a company vehicle or vehicle allowance,

+ superannuation

(OTE $120 - $150K per year).

Final salary will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and training.
